I updated to el capitan 10.11.6 and safari 10 and now I can no longer stream from this site:
Instead of showing live images, safari just downloads a huge text file. I can still stream it in Firefox, so it must be safari that's messed up. PLEASE fix.

I managed to download an earlier version of safari and it works as before. Hoping nothing goes wrong, I'll use it till the next version of safari arrives....
I got the same results as you did.
Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
I found the solution! By going to safari preferences->security and allowing flash to run when visiting other websites, the streaming now works again, yay.
